A couple of emails back and forth today with the travel magazine editor and now he wants me to write a full feature on biking in Melbourne. Ive got enough material to put something together from my two previous trips and maybe I can sell him on something from the Gold Coast too. Its a small start, but its given my a foot in the door, and mean Id have credibility for other magazines. I really want to write an article about construction here in the Himalaya of north India. Seeing how these guys build a house or like today watching them building a traditional temple, is grounding. There are no power tools, no machines, everything is done by hand. The effort required just to get raw materials is formidable.
