Its a way of speaking and writing that will never see the light of day again. I found at the library a edition of John Stienbecks book, Travels with Charley. Its been on my reading list since a guy in Bangkok recommended it nearly 3 years ago. Steinbeck's style is something of a classic too, but there is still a lot to be learned from it. So far loving the book. I'm a little worried about the thin bible quality of the paper. Im pretty hard on a book and I could see me retuning it with a few torn pages.
Was thinking about what happened to the guy in France that offered me the job and realized he was going to either call on Skype or on my cell and that I hadnt turned either of them on in a week. I hadn't turned the cell on because I didn't want to see the messages from Toni and knew if I saw them Id read them, then I probably answer one and off we'd go again. Seeing that I needed to make sure this guy hadn't called I turned on the cell last night. It lit up and did its thing then connected to the tower will full strength and then nothing. I felt upset at first that there wasn't one text from Toni, but really I guess I'm glad there isn't and I can really put her behind me. It does make me wonder what she is thinking that she didn't contact me. But not so much I'll loose sleep, or be inquisitive to find out.
i should bike today. Ive been on a two days on two days off kick lately it seems. After last weeks run then bike, I spent the day lazily on the beach on Saturday and Sunday sat in the campervan all day reading, then at least went to the lake and got a little play swim in.
