Oct. 17th, 2017 11:07 amWhen i was thinking about that time in Ft lauderdale it also made me remember how much time I just lolled around. Pretty much all my life has been spent that way and its only occasionally Ive had bursts of energetic work on a regular basis. All those years in Atlanta were spent between work and when i started buying and selling houses Id go through weeks were i hardly did anything. The travelling covered up that habit as you arent expected to do anything when travelling except reach a new destination now and then. Now in australia and supossedly back to work I still can spend at least 3 days a week doing very little. Its only the running and cycling which hold me together with any sort of routine. If R wasnt around Id probably slip further into a depression and never find my way out.
Im reading Riot an absolutely crap book, but its very popular. It reads easily and is just a story that because of its easy reading and fast pace is quite captivating. I'm also reading My family and other animals. Its also a very easy read and lot of dialog. i think that is the trick, pull people into your story with dialog that paints a picture. R said the other day that Im very funny, but I find it hard to translate that into writing.
