Twice this week i stepped on the scale and was quite surprised to see 69 kilos! OK 69.9 but its still in the 69's! My runs this week have felt really strong too. Imagine carrying a couple of kilos on your run and you can see why loosing weight has a double benefit. You are lighter so you can run faster and you run faster and loose even more weight.
R's parents are staying for a couple of weeks. Ive built out a complete suite downstairs now, so they aren't quite so much in my face all the time, but I'll still be glad to see them gone. her Dad has a couple of times just stood right over me watching me work. I've looked up at him and thought he would get the message, but he doesnt! I want to just say "fuck off" It's extremely off putting having someone just stare at you while you work, so then i just stop and go do something else or make an excuse and leave the house. He still doesnt get it though.
We have this big water filter that holds 8 liters. I usually fill it because of course R never remembers. I came home the other day and lift the cover to check to see if it needs filling. "Ive filled it" her dad says, but Im already seeing the lid isnt replaced properly and then then see the canister isnt properly on the machine and that there is no water in it at all. He is still saying, "ive put water in it" I'm thinking what the fuck are you talking about? Why are you just lying and its so obvious as we are all looking at an empty water container. Then last night I'm coming to bed and noticed R has left the toilet seat up. She has been doing this more often lately, so i thought Id comment on it. Yes i can be that anal. Its just something I grew up with never leaving the toilet seat up and I've just never done it all my life. So I say to her, "hey whats with leaving the toilet seat up lately?" "oh right this is a nice way to end the evening" she snaps. "You never put it down." I'm like wow! wow really, something that I do almost religiously where ever I am, and she wants to say I NEVER put it down. My point here is, that she lies like this quite often to get out of the fact that she has done something wrong. And now Ive seen her Dad do it I now know where she learnt it from. I dont think its a mean evil sort of lying. But its a can't take critisism of any kind, so lie to cover it up sort of thing.
