rogerdogerLittle painting today and continue of clean up in the basement.
Nearly didn't run, it got late and I got hungry, always hungry. Took a nap around 3.00..yum. So when I woke I did a bit more work then headed out for the run. Quick 3 or 4 miles with a few short sprints. Tried not to think about the pain in my butt/leg. I think rest day again tomorrow and a short, very short brick Friday..Oh no, shit, I was going to try to swim at the lake tomorrow. gota see what the weather is doing. it might storm tomorrow. I also should have called the park to find out how early I can get in there.
Ok I still dont want a girlfriend, but it would be nice to get some of those bonus's, like massages. My legs could really do with it. Still, not like I ever got that many massages when I did have a girlfriend. Meghan was pretty good, but putting tiger balm on my nuts as a joke kinda sucked. :)

Date: 2007-04-26 07:18 am (UTC)Well, that could be an ouch if the stuff was too potent. Have you ever had a professional massage? Done well, deep tissue massage -- although often painful -- is one of life's pleasures. I sleep better, my joints simply feel better and I feel more rested immediately after the massage. It's really helping my shoulder. If you do get one, see if your therapist has a degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. My friend got her master's degree there and the curriculum is rigorous and its graduates are well trained and extremely capable.

Date: 2007-04-26 09:47 am (UTC)Yeah Ive had plenty of pro massages, I have someone that I started to go to that is a sports masseuse. She doesnt have any of the frilly candles and music, just gets right down to working on what hurts.
When I lived in Key West I had a friend that had a massage business that he ran out of a hotel on the beach. he taught me how to give a pretty good massage, with he idea that I was going to add that to my portfolio of careers. Just be nice to find someone that we could give mutual massages without all the dating and without paying $75 a pop!
