I hit it rather hard this weekend. A good bike ride on Saturday and a good trail run on Sunday. By Sunday afternoon my legs felt sore and I knew by Monday they would be stiff for sure. Monday is my usual rest day and yes they were sore, so i pushed myself out the door on tuesday and didnt expect much with my legs still really sore. A great surprise then when I just felt really good, it still hurt and maybe not a storming pace, but a really good solid run. Met a neighbor at the red arrow and I left to run back down and then home and she was running down and driving home. So when I was just running up my street she pulls up and put the window down and calls out, "how is that even possible!" She was floored that I had beat her home. hehe.
