rogerdogerChrist, I have to write a 50 word "irreverent bio" for the travel magazine and submit a head shot!
Heard from the bike distributor in India. They say they are very interested and want to talk more to me about it. Sounds like it might come to something, although there will be lots of hurdles to jump still. I need to try to get at least one bike tour going to coincide with a trip back to India. Im really at the point where I can't keep jetting around all over the place anymore without making some money. I'd wanted to keep a small nest egg, enough to be able to establish me back in Europe while I got a real job. I could take the plunge and risk everything and keep going with the plan to make the maps and go out to India if I get some cash for the track. I'm still not any closer with learning AI and Id still need to get fluent with making the ads. yikes I really need help with all that.
Something I forgot to mention about Elena. She switched on her webcam and showed me her kitty. We'd talked about cats a lot when we were in Goa. She has a big fluffy kitty that looks a little like Minke. Elena missed her cat and is very happy to be back with him, even if she isnt liking being back in Moscow so much. Anyway it was nice to see her kitty.
Didn't feel too bad from the run and swim yesterday, but then I didn't do much today. Its been really great weather and everyone is talking about it. Saying its going to be a really hot summer and that getting this hot this early is not normal. last year I was hearing that it was miserable up to the end of January. So with all that I figured I should make the best of it and take a chance to blow the cobwebs out of the van and get the batteries charged by driving over the the beach. The nearest one is actually the nude beach, fine by me! I really love nude beaches now and hate having to wear anything at the beach. I have an awesome all over tan now! none of those white lines for me. The beach was pretty deserted, a few people walking dogs up and down, but this particular beach has dunes that most of the nudist sit up in. I was some guys all going swimming nude so that made me feel more comfortable to go in nude too. Its not like the beach in Aus where it seemed much more laid back and no one cared. i even came out of the water nude one time in Byron and a dressed woman stuck up a conversation with me, all perfectly normal, but a little cereal.
Put the mountain bike together today. I think it needs a good going over before I ride it though, it sounds a little dry and needs to be lubed up. I can't decide if I should go back to the beach tomorrow for one more day and make the most of the good weather, or get stuck into the bike and the van and maybe a mountain bike ride. ah such terrible decisions I have to make!
