Byron Bay Australia
Oct. 20th, 2010 08:24 pmIts a little surreal as I sit here listening to Kookaburras, bats and all sort of other things squeaking away in the blackness the Byron Bay hinterland night. Was I really going to dinner at my little restaurants in Vashisht while listening to Temple bells and mystic chants, the nightly washer women banging clothes out on the stones under the temple hot springs, all surrounded by those amazing Himalaya. I can't believe I was there, it seems such a strange place to have been and now everything is shiny and new, and people talk about their houses and their money and jobs. Its beautiful here, stunning in fact. I just feel a bit like Im in a dream.
