rogerdogerHad one of the worst suffocation attacks last night that Ive had in a long time. It's totally my own fault of course. I missed lunch yesterday and I guess dinner wasnt enough to stop me getting hungry before I went to bed. I ate all the wrong things, peanut butter sandwich, then huge chunk of cheese, then a bunch of rice crackers. I woke up later that night gasping. My nose feeling blocked and like it wouldnt suck in enough air. As I became conscious the more I tried to breath through my nose the more I clamped my mouth shut. But then taking deep breaths through my mouth sent me into a sort of hyperventilation. Eventually I got it under control, but could feel my nose still blocked and knew if I fell asleep again Id be waking up in the same panic. I sat up with my back against the back of the passenger seats, but then still fell asleep like that then immediately woke again with the start of not breathing. Its funny sometimes it feel like my heart isnt even beating, everything has just stopped. To add to the problem, because I ate all that junk before going to sleep I now was getting indigestion. Great so now I can't breathe, and my stomach and chest are on fire. I kept falling asleep then straight away waking, eventually I fell sleep and didn't wake until this morning and now back to normal.
Talking of health, my gum still hurts, but not as much. Sometimes it flares up, but I think its still bad, but Ive become desensitized to the pain.
More bright news. i think Elena is gone. I saw she had left a message on FB on her wall. All it said was "india again no more" I left a message saying "does this mean no ladakh for us" Under this post of hers was another from some guy she must have met, he was saying he was in Chiang Mai and where was she, shed answered back that she was about to fly to Delhi. I wasnt upset that she was talking to other guys. i knew as a single attractive girl she was going to get hit on often and probably things were bound to happen. But last time she called me or left me a message it was something about how she didn't have time to talk or because she found it hard to write in english she didn't email. So when I saw she had made the effort to write to this guy it did make me a little sad. I sent her a message about it, and also asked about our plans for India and that she had told me she is like Russian tank and will make it happen if she wants. She wrote straight back! All she said was, well you talk to girls on FB. She wrote something about as far as us, in Russia its traditional for the guy to make the effort, and that she didn't want to be like Russian tank and that she was sorry she had said that. I wrote back just saying well she had also told me the story of the Russian women that had walked across Siberia to be with their men, so it sounded like she changed her traditions on just however she felt. I havent heard back and I somehow get the feeling that now she isnt or can't get to India when I'll be there she is cutting me loose since I can't pay her way for further travels. Im pretty sure that was what this was about, her trying to find a guy to pay for her travels. But hey maybe thats Russian tradition.
Yesterdays swim was back off on total distance, up intensity, and do one long swim. 200 warm up, 200 fast, 800, 50 fast as possible, 50 recovery and 200 cool down.
