rogerdogerswam and it felt like the old days. 200 warm up, 2 x 300, 4 x 400 2 all out 50's and 200 cool down. Its funny the warm up and cool down last week didn't feel any different from the sets, exhausting! but this week I could slow it down and make the cool down just that. Met a coach at the pool who is a tri coach. I really want to get some pointers on my swim, he wants $75 for an hour, but could be worth it.
Built up the road bike this afternoon and went out for a ride, even though it looked like rain. I'd forgot how much that bike feels like riding scalded cat. I had it in a high gear and was flying along, with hardly any pressure on the pedals. But id also forgotten how rough the roads are here and with racing slicks pumped at 120lbs it was a miserable bone jarring experience and then the rain came! made it out 30 mins round the lake then saw the clouds closing on the other side of the lake and turned around. Still got hit with some rain, but wasn't too bad. Kiwi drivers suck
An English girl Id met in Manali and Leh and then again in Goa is here in NZ. She has a job with a magazine in Auckland but is doing some sight seeing just south of me and texted me to say she'd be visiting on Thursday. She met Elena when we were in Goa, and they both got on really well, humm both claim to have bi tendencies so who knows what they were thinking of each other! Nice
My friend Wade who's movie looks like is doing really well, he serialized it and is playing it on the net, but anyway he had told me about Elance. I've been checking it out and found a couple of graphic designers in India, one is actually a cartographer in Delhi. $14 an hour, but would mean I could get the Delhi map rolling. And since I can't do anything right now and probably wont get this program sorted out till I get to India and then I have to learn it still! Using these guys might be my best option.
