I brought my laptop with me, because I knew Id be away for an extended period and would need it for work and pleasure. But whats really bad is I realized the one I had was too big and heavy and bought a second mini one, and now Im going to have to travel with two!

we bought a mini for travel also, but we only take the mini. we call it the 'lollypop' because of the commercials they played for the dell inspiron in US.

I love my little mini, although I pulled it out the other day and realized just how small it is and that it will take a while to get use to the tiny keys again. But it has no hard drive which means it survived the motorcycling all around India, but it has no memory big enough to run Illustrator, so now both have to come with me back to India. Im terrified the big Vaio will get beaten to death.

Arnt you supposed to be talking in Swiss German now? :)

yikes. yea we just use ours for the bloggin', we used to lug the big laptop around and that was god-awful. too bad you cant get a little something external to plug in like a mini hard drive.

Its not just the memory, that computer is just psychically too small to do graphics art work on, then Id need an external keyboard and an external monitor! Maybe if things really take off Id invest in yet another laptop that is lighter but has a larger screen and hard drive, but for now I'll have to try to make do. If it makes it to India, I shouldn't need to carry it around too much after that.
