Oh shit here we go
May. 17th, 2009 08:15 pmLast night in the campervan.
The beauty of putting your head in the sand, is you don't worry quite as much about things. But once it becomes the last second, it does make for a little stress. Until this morning I had absolutely nothing packed. The mountain bike was a total mess from yesterdays muddy ride. I needed to get the bike imaculately clean for the trip to australia where customs often pull bikes apart and make you sit and clean them. i can't afford this time. I have a conecting flight to Singapore and Greg is coming to meet me at the airport in Perth to take the bike until I return in Decemeber. i still needed to take the road bike out of the hard travel case and put it in the cardboarrd box and deliver it with my laptop over to greg #2 who was looking after those. this all took pretty much all day. so its only now this evening that Ive stated looking at what I need to pack in the backpack. Not much! im going pretty light this time. It's a little easier knowing what I'll be in for and knowing when i can get cheap clothes when things get cold again.
I'm back on the little computer again now too. Downloaded Semagic and organized some files from the other computer to this one, so hopefully Im all set. Leave for wellington by bus tomorrow then Wednesday fly out.
ive been saying that Ive felt really strong again, so my benifit heres another weeks workouts, so when i come back in december I wont be whining about why aint i strong anymore. Once I can reach this level without being tired i know I'll be ready to race.
