Well a change this year. Im staying home in Australia and R has gone with a teacher friend to Sri Lanka. We had the discussion some time ago and i said I just didnt really want to go again and because of the two dogs it made sense for me to stay home. She took it quite well but thought he parents would be upset and concerned. When she told her mum her mum said "oh I think Id like to go to australia and stay with the rog and dogs!" hehe.
I hope to stay busy over the next couple of weeks. Ive given myself a bunch of projects to get going on around the house. build a dining room table, extend the room downstairs, pour concrete pad with drain, remove rear deck stairs and build back on side of deck.
Weight has been around 71 to 73. Its into the hard time now. Even though my running is going well and Ive done a bit of mountain biking on sundays, its not enough to counteract the bits of bad diet that still creep in. I cycled today and tomorrow Im doing a 10km run over the big hills here with the husband of a friend of R's.
