Ive had some crazy dreams the last couple of nights. But I wake up so tired that I dont want to wake up enough to write them down and in the morning they are completely gone.

Yesterday did some more trail maintenance. Getting to where Mark was working was hell. He was parked at the very top of one of the big road climbs. Its a dirt track that Ive never been up and it leads to two tracks that Ive never ridden. The track we worked on is really nice with jumps and steep downhill. But getting up there after my bike ride the day before was pretty painful and it was blazing sun too. I rode the trail down and it could be a blast. I wasnt in riding gear so couldnt really go for it, but would like to go back up there another day and have a go, but maybe when my legs are in better shape. I ran this morning and really cooked my calves. They were screaming in pain, even when I had to walk some of the steeper parts. But I did notice I actually ran more today than I usually did and felt much stronger too. So definate signs of improvement.

I think I was going to say something again about running and workouts being a metaphor for lifes goals. I've noticed I break my goals into small managable chunks. "make it to this tree" or something. I can see the tree, I know if I really focus I can make it to the tree, and when I do it gives me the will to keep trying harder, rather than just give up. In my life goals I seem to set too distant a goal and then drift off course. Like with Adobe. I want to make maps. Ok well I first have to learn the program and to do that if I'd just set myself goals of maybe learning one thing with Adobe each day then eventually I might get there. This kind of brings me back to having a good book to work from. trying to do it from lessons on line doest seem to work as well. I need a hard copy infront of me rather than a screen, plus Im still worried about being on line while Adobe is running and then have it fail.

Legs are really sore. I guess I can get a good swim in tomorrow. I went yesterday but had to cut it short to meet Mark. I did manage a couple of 400's and they didn't feel too bad.
