Superstar

Not me, but I met one today. First in last years Xterra and top placed in many world mtn bike events and wins most of the Kiwi ones. After I had been talking to this girl for 20 mins we realized we'd met at the bike shop she works at and I frequent most. Did a small run today in an attempt to back of this week. one lap round the lake then a little swim, but with the wet suit this time, which was really nice. I could feel the boyency (spell check doesn't know how to spell it either) so much today for some reason. So Im finishing off my swim and I see this female swimming across my path and it looks like she has a wet suit on too. I finish up and she is stripping out of her wet suit next to my van, which is parked next to her car. Being me, I strike up a conversation. Kiwi's are so unassuming. She talks about riding here riding there, doing this doing that, "oh yeah xterra I won that" I just looked up her times and she blazed it. I think she had something like 1.20 on the bike and 53 on her run. I still dont see how those guys can run in the 40's twice round the lake. I was surprised that with my easy run, walking the stairs and walking when I felt my heart rate get too high, I still did 35 mins. That seems really weird that I can only shave off about 7 mins if I run hard. I think I might not be taking into account the fact that Im only just back into running and riding again.

Oh yeah, had a letter from my aunt in Hawaii today. She sent me a HI calender, not not even one bikini girl in it, but she did send this really nice little Japanese envelope with a folded up $50 bill. She is so sweet, her letter was so funny. I cant believe someone that is an accountant and has lived in the US for probably 40 odd years, still cant hardly speak or write English, and my uncle was married to her.
