Apr. 13th, 2007 07:31 amGreat swim last night. I did just go and do whatever, but still put in a good workout. Legs still sore from previous nights run, so i did a bunch of kick drills to give them a good workout and hopefully loosen then up. I ended the session with about 20 mins of paddles, just a nice easy stroke and concentrate on form. Definitely cleaned up my whole swim stroke and I think the two changes have been getting my head close to my arm and shoulder and keeping it tucked in. keeping my head down when taking a breath and really reaching out with force and starting my rotation with my arm and shoulder.
About to go out for a long motorcycle ride with that guy I went with last time, yeah I know he's slow, but thats probably a good thing. He promised to be on his GS too. He asked me at the beginning of the week and I have been wanting to go all the way up to the Charaholla and maybe up to deals gap. Its going to make for a long day. And yes I shouldnt be taking the time off, but its going to be the nicest day of the weekend, they are calling for rain tomorrow, so I can make up for it and work through the weekend. Im more concerned about missing a workout. I should be getting a run in today and I know I wont be back till late. Oh well legs really do need a rest still and tomorrow will be long run and swim. If the weather ever gets better Id like to switch my weekend swim to Sunday and do the masters at Emory. A couple of weeks and I think I can handle that group again pretty well.
Now what to wear?, full race leathers or just my riding jacket and regular pants.
Oh went to vortex last night, the bike meet hang out for thursdays. I planned to meet a guy there that is going to make a bracket for the bike so I can fix a bike rack on it.
I've contacted Wade's web designer and am going to meet with her when I have a rough draft of the pages I want for the house. I might actually go through with it this time!
