I can't believe she is really thinking this. R has a chance for a promotion as head of english in the middle school. She would get it if she wanted it as she is the most experienced teacher in the department. But she has been wanting to go in a different direction and has also recently applied at college for classes in that field. But she was seriously considering taking the head postion and putting the college on hold. So i was shocked at her excuse the other day that she wasnt going to take it because if we were to have kids it would take up too much of her time! WTF! Does she really want kids? This was coming up before and I thought we had delt with it. She really doesnt have the skills to raise kids. She can hardly look after herself. I think she knows that in her head but like most things she wont admit to it and so makes up other excuses. Someone in their 40's who balls their eyes out at the drop of a hat, who can't remember the simplest things in house management, or forgets or ignores things important for the dogs well being, shouldnt be having kids. And at 55 Im not going to get lumped with looking after kids full time which is what would happen, while she crawls up into a ball and cry's because she can't deal with it. Like she did the other night when the dogs had a simple little fight.
